New Marvel movie is directed by Sam Raimi and is now in theaters in Brazil
Since it was announced at San Diego Comic Con 2019, the plot of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse” has been surrounded by secrets and many theories, from the most elaborate to the totally optimistic and creative. With the release of the first trailers, which took place during the session of “Spider-Man: No Return Home”, in December, many theories were discarded and others gained even more strength, coming to fruition with the release of the film, which has already is showing in Brazilian cinemas.

- America Chavez is the cause of trouble
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” opens with an intense action sequence, in which America Chavez it’s the Doctor Strange Protector are running away from a giant monster to try to get the Vishanti Book, the “good” version of the dangerous Darkhold, which has many counter-attack spells to other magical disciplines.
When their mission fails, America opens a portal to Earth 616, where she meets Strange and Wong. To help the young girl learn to control her powers, the former Sorcerer Supreme seeks guidance from Wanda, unaware that it is she who is after America to steal magic from her.

In a scene from the trailer for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, we see dialogue from Wanda Maximoff confronting Stephen Strange with the following sentence: “You break the rules and become a hero. Fans have been waiting for years for the Illuminati to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the group, which is made up of the greatest minds in comics, was confirmed in one of the trailers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse.
In the comics, the Illuminati is originally composed of: Charles Xavier (or Professor X), Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic, leader of the Fantastic Four), dating (the Sub-Mariner, leader-regent of Atlantica), Tony Stark (Iron Man, leader of the Avengers), black ray (leader of the Inhumans and king of the Inhuman race) and Stephen Strange himself.
However, for his first appearance in the MCU, the studio made some changes to the team members.
- Return of Patrick Stewart
One of the previews had already driven fans wild by revealing Strange talking to Professor X in Patrick Stewart and yes, he is back in his iconic role. Considered one of the most important characters in the universe of heroes, the Professor Xavier is the leader of the Illuminati and appears to stop Stephen from traveling irresponsibly across the multiverse.

The new lineup of the Illuminati has several surprises: Chiwetel Ejiofor how Supreme Wizard; Hayley Atwell how Captain Carter; Lashana Lynch how captain marvel; Anson Mount how black ray; and John Krasinski how Reed Richards.
In one of the trailers, Lynch’s uniform left many fans confused and some swore it was the superior iron mana variant of the Tony Stark that would supposedly be lived by Tone cruisethe star of action movies.
For those who don’t remember, Maria Rambeau is the best friend of Carol Danvers on Earth 616 and appears in the movie “Captain Marvel”. The character has a daughter, Monica Rambeau, who appears in the cast of the series “WandaVision” as one of the SWORD agents who frees Westview from Wanda’s powers.
