“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is now in theaters
Despite the fans’ anxiety to check out the actor’s participation Patrick Stewart in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, the actor confessed a certain insecurity in participating in the feature.
“I was in a very different environment than I’ve ever been in any of the X-Men movies.“, revealed the actor in an interview with Variety. “As with ‘Star Trek: Picard’, I was a little unsure at first if it was a sensible thing to do. Given that ‘Logan’ was such a powerful movie and we saw him die in Hugh Jackman’s arms. So, having seen [‘Doutor Estranho 2’] on Monday night, I’m very happy and very proud to have been a part of it.“
Patrick Stewart had said goodbye to the role of Professor Xavier in 2017, in the movie “Logan”, and did not eliminate the chances of returning to play him soon: “Yes. It might be. You know, the whole X-Men comic book series is so big, so vast, there might be an opportunity for him to come back. We’ll see.“
ON “DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS”
with direction of Sam Raimi (from “Spider-Man”, 2002 film and the first adaptation live action from Amigão da Vizinhança), “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” counts with the arrival of Elizabeth Olsena Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch to fight side by side Stephen Strange in Benedict Cumberbatch.
The character’s presence connects the film directly with “WandaVision”, a series in which Wandaaccidentally creates a perfect reality to live with Eyesight (Paul Bettany). However, the breaking point of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” must come from “Spider-Man: No Homecoming” and the consequences of the spell performed by the Doctor Strange so that everyone would forget that Peter parker (Tom Holland) and the Spider man.
The cast still includes the newcomer to the MCU Xochitl Gomez, in the role of America Chavez; Rachel McAdams how Christine Palmer; Benedict Wong reprising Wong; Patrick Stewart returning as the Professor Xavier; Chiwetel Ejiofor in the role of bite; and Hayley Atwell living the Captain Carter.
