Femicide case confessed by the young woman’s fiancé shocked the world in 2021
The shocking murder case of blogger Gabby Petito that shocked the world in 2021 will be made into a movie. According to TV channel NBC New York, Lifetime will produce a TV feature film about the story.
Titled “The Gabby Petito Story”, the film should explore the relationship between gabby and your fiance Brian Laundrie. He murdered his companion during a van trip across the United States and, before committing suicide, admitted in a diary that he had committed femicide.
The work will be directed by the actress. Thora Birch, from “American Beauty” and “Ghost World – Learning to Live”. In addition to her role as director, she will also act in the feature, playing Nichole Schmidtthe mother of Gabby Petito.
“The Gabby Petito Story” will be filmed this coming summer in the state of Utah, located in the western region of the United States, and is expected to premiere on TV later this year.
The launch is expected to take place close to the one-year anniversary of Petito’s disappearance, in September.
