Astro said that he will live the Master of Martial Arts as many times as necessary
Even after announcing a break in his career after “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, Benedict Cumberbatch does not intend to retire the mantle of the Master of Martial Arts anytime soon. So let’s look forward to more productions of the hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even more so with the enigmatic ending of the most recent film.
To the National Post, Cumberbatch was asked if he would live on for another decade for the character, and his answer couldn’t have been better for Marvel fans. “Yes! Absolutely. Absolutely. If they keep me, and it interests them, and keep him evolving and trying to exercise his full potential as a character, I think there’s a lot of places for him to explore. So yeah, bring him in.”said.
Then, the star talked about how it was to play several versions of himself, since the heart of the plot is the different realities. “You have to get a correlation to know you’re watching an iteration that basically, through choices or circumstances and environment, had a different outcome”explained Cumberbatch. “But it’s a good kind of loop that feeds into self-discovery and self-therapy for the character we know from our universe, about how he improves his choices or the situation. So it’s a fun thing to explore.”he added.
Cumberbatch became a member of the MCU in 2016, with the debut of “Doctor Strange”, and later participated in other major productions of the studio, including “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Avengers: Infinity War”, “Avengers: Endgame” and “Man- Spider: No Return Home”. In addition, the actor also voices the character in several episodes of the animated series “What If…?”, available on Disney+.
Beside benedictthe cast of “Doctor Strange 2” also has Elizabeth Olsenhow Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch; the rookie in the MCU Xochitl Gomez, in the role of America Chavez; Rachel McAdams how Christine Palmer; Patrick Stewart returning as the Professor Xavier; Chiwetel Ejiofor in the role of bite; and Hayley Atwell living the Captain Carter.
