Meet the protagonists of “Maldives”, the new Brazilian series on Netflix

A daily routine by the pool, washed down with drinks and secrets. This is the routine Milene, Kat, rayssa and veronicaresidents who rock the Maldives, a luxury condominium located in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro.

Liz, a recent arrival from Goiás to investigate her mother’s death, becomes the target of the four residents, who become a hurricane when they get together, either in the leisure areas or at the condominium meeting. Even in the privacy of their apartments, where appearances can’t be deceiving, they don’t miss anything.

With the premiere of the first season of “Maldives”, which is scheduled for June 15th, approaching, let’s get to know each of the characters, who are so striking and full of nuances. Know who is who:

Milene (Manu Gavassi) is a woman with the “perfect body”, well within the standard, thanks to her “perfect” husband, the plastic surgeon Victor Hugo (Klebber Toledo). Her appearance is always impeccable and ready to make tons of Instagrammable clicks. She is also the manager of the Maldives and always values ​​the well-being of Maldives residents, but based on mysterious movements.

Already rayssa (Sheron Menezzes) is a former axé dancer from the 2000s, who managed to reinvent herself and become a successful businesswoman with her husband cauã (Samuel Melo), lead singer of the former band. Contrary to appearances, their marriage is a brand that sustains their business – so they need to keep their relationship secrets under lock and key.

THE Kat (Carol Castro) is known for being a hot mom, not just to her kids, but to her friends as well. She lives a happy relationship, even covering up her husband’s deceit Gustavo (Guilherme Winter), that no one knows if it is out of love or risk that the family’s finances are running.

Already veronica (Natalia Klein) differs from the others for being somewhat gothic and with a sharp humor. She is always at Milene’s feet, trying to discover the syndica’s secrets. The character was also her best friend. Read (Vanessa gerbelli), Liz’s mother who died in a fire.

And we couldn’t help but talk about the Liz (Bruna Marquezine). The young woman was abandoned by her mother at age 5 after a traumatic event and decides to leave Goiás to live in the Maldives with the mission of finding out what happened to Leia.
