Contrary to fans’ wishes, “Moon Knight” had no connection to any MCU production.
Contrary to what Marvel fans expected, “Moon Knight” did not maintain any direct connection to other MCU productions. But, that doesn’t mean that the actors haven’t thought about a continuity for their characters in the Universe. It was the case of May Calamawya Layla in the series, who revealed his desire to perform a crossover with other characters from the studio.
“I don’t know anything about what might happen to the Scarlet Scarab. But I’d love to [encontrar] Doctor Strange would be cool. Blade would be cool because I’ve worked with Mahershala Ali and he’s so amazing,” he declared. “And I love women. I love Agatha. I feel like at first I loved everyone who was kind of villainous, like Nebula. [de “Guardiões da Galáxia”]. I found them so complex. But honestly it depends on the story. “Moon Knight” follows the life of Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a kind, polite and apparently normal man, but who discovers he has a double identity, sharing his personality with that of the ruthless mercenary, Marc Spectorwho ends up assuming the powers of the Egyptian god Khonshuafter being between life and death, and becomes the moon knight.
Despite the loose ends left by the story, especially after the last episode, Isaac already revealed, in interviews, that the super production was thought to have only one season and should not have a sequel. At least, not in serial format.
All six episodes of “Moon Knight” are available on Disney+.
