“Decision to Leave”, the filmmaker’s new film Park Chan-Wookthe same director of “The Handmaid” and “Oldboy”, had his first trailer released. The police drama shows a police officer investigating a murder, when he ends up getting too involved with the main suspect of the crime.
The plot revolves around a detective who, while investigating the death of a man in the mountains, meets the victim’s mysterious wife and ends up jeopardizing the course of his entire investigation.
The cast includes the actors Tang Wei, Park Hae-Il, Go Kyung-pyo, Lee Jung-hyun and Jeong Ha-dam. Park Chan-wook also assumes the role of screenwriter alongside Seo-kyeong Jeong.
The crime drama will make its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, which takes place from May 17 to 28 on the French Riviera. “Decision to Leave” hits theaters on June 29.
