Directed by Edu Felistoque (“400 against one”, “Toro”, “Cracolândia”) and Erik de Castro (“Senta a Pua!”, “Federal”, “Cano Serrado”), the film starts from real facts to tell the story of the character- title, played by Sérgio Menezes (“O Novelo”, “A Cor Púrpura – O Musical”), an honest and reputable police officer, who finds himself in a network of corruption and violence perpetuated by colleagues.

I know the person who inspired it all – a resident of Ceilândia, in the Federal District, where the film is also set – for over 20 years, and I hear his experiences. One day I sat down with her and deepened the conversation, looking for a narrative. Important to say that it was ‘inspired’ and not ‘based’ on a true story. There is thus even more freedom for imagination”, explains Castro, who also signs the script.

blissful says that he saw in this person’s story the potential for a film that could generate a lot of debate in society. “On the first day of contact with the person who inspired the script, I realized that I was facing a story that should be told in a movie and soon after, the moment I read the script, I was sure of that and we have already started the elaboration of the work.

A resident of Ceilândia, DF, in his work, Cabo Amado does more than his job, which transforms the police process into something faster by overcoming bureaucracy. A controversial figure, a hero for some, an outlaw for others, the boy comes face to face with superiors who are embroiled in a network of corruption, and decides he will solve it alone.
