Ruby Stokes will be replaced by Hannah Dodd in the role of French Bridgerton – Disclosure / Netflix

Netflix made official this Thursday (12) the departure of Ruby Stokes of the “Bridgerton” cast. The actress gave life to Francesca bridgerton over two seasons and left the series to focus on his new project on the streaming platform, the adaptation of “Lockwood & Co”.

To replace Stokes, Netflix announced that Hannah Doddwho recently starred in “Anatomy of a Scandal,” was chosen to play Francesca in the period series based on the books by Julia Quinn.

“Bridgerton” tells the story of an aristocratic English family that finds itself entangled in a web of lust and betrayal. The production scripted by Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anathomy”) made its debut on the digital platform in December 2020. Each season focuses on one member of the Bridgerton family.

The cast includes: Phoebe Dynevor how Daphne Bridgerton; Simone Ashley how Kate Sharma; Jonathan Bailey how Anthony Bridgerton; Julie Andrews how Lady Whistledown; Adjoa Andoh how lady danbury; Ruby Barker how Marina Thompson; Jason Barnett how Jeffries; Nicola Coughlan how Penelope and much more.

The two seasons of “Bridgerton” are now available on Netflix.

ABOUT “LOCKWOOD & CO”

“Lockwood & Co” will be released on Netflix and tells the story of Lucy carlylea newly arrived and extremely psychically gifted young woman, who just with Anthony Lockwood and George Karimruns a psychic detection agency.
