New year will have the same directors of “Moon Knight”
The 2nd season of “Loki”, a series from Marvel Studios shown on Disney+, had its production scheduled to begin on June 6 in London. The information is from the Production List.
The new season of the series will be directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead, who recently worked on the series “Knight of the Moon”. The duo will replace Kate Herronwho will remain on the project as a producer.
The first season of “Loki” showed what happened to the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) right after the events of “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). After managing to escape with the Tesseract, he ends up captured by the Temporal Variation Authority (AVT) and must serve his sentence for breaching the Sacred Timeline.
There, Loki gains a second chance to redeem himself if he can help the Time Guardians, protectors of the Timeline, capture a variant, which is causing problems in time and space.
The first season also starred Sophia Di Martino like Sylvie, Owen Wilson like Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Renslayer and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15.
Episodes from the first season of “Loki” are available on Disney+. The second year, although already confirmed, still does not have a premiere date.
