Inspired by real events and the gang that really existed in the mid-1890s, “Peaky Blinders” follows the trajectory of the family Shelby after the First World War. Formed by gypsies, the family group is led by Tommy (cillian Murphy), as well as the entire city of Birmingham, England.

In its sixth and final season, the story will be set during and after World War II, and Thomas Shelby will continue its war against the fascist politician Oswald Mosley (played by Sam Claflin), in addition to crossing paths with a new mysterious character played by Stephen Graham (“Boiling Point”).

Steven Knight and the director Anthony Byrne still had the difficult mission of writing a script thinking about the farewell to Polly Graydue to the health problems of the deceased Helen McCroy, who died in April last year after breast cancer. Therefore, they did their best to maintain the legacy and respect for the actress and her character.

The first seasons of “Peaky Blinders” are still available on Netflix, and its conclusion arrives on streaming on June 10th. In the UK, the series is already being broadcast through the British BBC.
