The award ceremony was held this Sunday at noon at the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles. The mayor of Madrid himself, José Luis Martínez-Almedia, oversaw the awarding of the medal to Calamaro.
The action was nothing but reaffirming a passion that AC had begun to embroider in Spain from its success in Los Rodríguez, in the ’90s.
