“Doctor Strange 2” almost had brutal character death in alternate start – Disclosure / Marvel Studios

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” begins with Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) helping America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) to get rid of a big threat and then go to Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) for help.

However, according to Heavy Spoilers (via ComicBook), the film would have an even more brutal opening. Originally Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is the one who would go after Wanda with a mission to wipe out the universe’s magic users, but everything would go wrong.

Mordo would attack the character of Scarlet Witch, who would mate the character of Ejiofor cutting off his head. The idea was scrapped and the revelation that Wanda is the film’s villain comes after Stephen’s visit.

with direction of Sam Raimi (from “Spider-Man”, 2002 film and the first adaptation live action from the Friendly Neighborhood), “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has the return of Benedict Cumberbatch to the role of Doctor Strangewhich wins the company of Elizabeth Olsena Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.

Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor are on the list. Finally, the production also introduces a new character: America Chaveza Miss Americalived by Xochitl Gomez (“The Babysitters Club”).
