Comedian Michel Courtemanche will open a gala ball during ComediHa! Fest-Québec, held from August 3 to 27 at the Capitole Theater in Quebec. This is the first time in 25 years that the famous actress known for her crazy facial expressions will host the festival in front of an audience.
One of Quebec’s most international comedians, Michel Courtemanche recently worked in the field of web and television broadcasts, specifically performing in goodbye and on the Com@Tv streaming platform.
Remember that he made surprise releases in 2016 and 2019 on ComediHa !, where he once again changed his famous drummer number. This year, in addition to hosting the first of the festival’s six galas, on August 12, he will present four original creations on stage.
The second gala, which will take place the next day, will be hosted by another Quebec comedy star whose work has crossed provincial borders, Anthony Kavanagh.
Singer Marie-Mai, actor Michel Charette, comedian Laurent Paquin and the duo formed by actress Anne-Élisabeth Bossé and comedian Guillaume Pineault are the other headliners to headline Galas ComediHa! this summer.
All of these numbers will be broadcast on ICI Radio-Canada Télé in the fall.
Four stars grilled
Between August 22 and 25, four personalities from the comedy industry will be invited to undergo a grilledmeaning a salute in the form of insults both full body and loving, during the Grands Bien-cuits section of ComediHa !.
The first victim will be Normand Brathwaite, in an evening led by his friend Laurent Paquin. Michel Barrette will follow, who will be barbecue of his co-star of km/h ; Martin Matte, who will mistreat Fabien Cloutier, his brother The great discomforts ; and finally Cathy Gauthier, who will receive the sarcastic rage of Jean-François Mercier.
Casino comedy shows
From June 8 to 13, ComediHa! organize parties Towards ComediHa! celebration at the Casino de Montréal, where the public will have the opportunity to see well-known and emerging comedians presenting original material in anticipation of the festival.
