The actor Christ Fernandezwho plays the character Dani Rojas in “Ted Lasso”, revealed how the 3rd season is progressing, hinting when the new episodes might be released.
In a new interview with PopCulture, the Apple TV+ comedy series actor confirmed that filming was underway:
“We are very excited to be back on set and thankfully these times are different from last year during the Covid-19 pandemic.“, he said.
“Last year we were filming in the middle of the lockdown, but at least now the city has reopened. I’m really impressed with the talent of the writers on the show. The scripts are very good.”, he stated excitedly.
He added: “We’ve been filming for the last couple of months, things are going well and I’m hopeful. Hopefully, fans will love our third season, which I hope will be released later in the year.”, revealed Fernández.
Fernández also revealed that they “been recording many jokes that your character will have”, adding: “I’m really happy and excited that there’s going to be a lot of football this season, so for all the football fans out there, a lot of football, and there are also really important key moments from all of our characters, so I think this third season is going to be great… So, hope people like it.”
“Ted Lasso” tells the story of a college football coach in the United States who is hired to coach a professional football team in England. Despite the lack of experience in the field, he makes up for it with a lot of optimism and determination to help players.
The cast has Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster, Toheeb Jimoh, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, Jeremy Swift and more.
The first two seasons of “Ted Lasso” are available on Apple TV+. At the last Emmys, “Ted Lasso” won seven awards.
