After “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes” got its first trailer on Tuesday night (17), fans were horrified by the special effects to transform Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”) on the greenish heroin and protested on social media. And that might even help: remember when fans saved “Sonic: The Movie” from disastrous CGI?

When the first trailer for the long-awaited live-action was released, fans were completely disappointed by the appearance of the blue hedgehog, which was far from reminiscent of Sonic from video games. There were so many complaints that, some time later, Paramount Pictures announced the postponement of the film’s premiere to correct the hero’s special effects.

And the fans’ request was finally granted: the premiere of “Sonic: The Movie” jumped from November 2019 to February 2020, Paramount paid about US$ 35 million (about R$ 173 million at the current price) more and Sonic’s look has been completely revamped, bringing him much closer to his version of the games. After all, the fan’s word is sovereign.

Now fans are hoping the same will happen with “She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes.” As the series still has to go through touches until its debut on Disney+, on August 17th, it is very likely that the special effects will be improved.

The series will show Jennifer Walters as a lawyer for heroes and even some villains, such as Abominable (Tim Roth). The nine episodes, which will be around 30 minutes each, will see the character representing the members of Damage Control, who stole Chitauri technology after the Battle of New York, and will also assist Wong (Benedict Wong) in a lawsuit against another mage. Check out:

Walters’ origin in the series will be based on the heroine’s story in the comics. She will get her powers after receiving a blood transfusion from Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) when having an accident. In addition to the trailer, Disney+ also released a poster for the series. Check out:

Production will be directed by Kat Coiro, of “Dial Amiga para Matar”, who will also serve as executive producer. The cast will still have Jameela Jamilfrom “The Good Place”, and Renee Elise Goldsberryfrom “Hamilton”.
