Production is set as a dramedy and involves a murder mystery.
Netflix released this Wednesday (18) the official trailer for “Maldives”, a mystery series with Bruna Marquezine, Manu Gavassi and great cast.
In the preview, the residents of a luxury condominium located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, who have already performed, become suspects in the death of Patrícia/Léia (Vanessa Gerbelli), mother of Liz (Bruna Marquezine).
“Maldives speaks of a very particular universe, which are these luxury condominiums in Barra da Tijuca, with everything inside – people don’t have to leave there for anything. Its residents have a very strong sense of community, know everything about each other and live with a false sense of security. But what happens when a crime happens inside?“, revealed the creator and screenwriter Natalia Kleinin a press release.
In the story, during the entire police interrogation of Detective Denilson (Romani) – and the investigation that Liz starts on her own – Kat (Carol Castro), Rayssa (Sheron Menezzes), Milene (Manu Gavassi) and Veronica (Natalia Klein) will do everything they can not to discover their secrets. After all, for them, appearance is what matters.
Production still has Vanessa Gerbelli, Klebber Toledo, Romani, Samuel Melo, Guilherme Winter, Angela Vieira, Alejandro Claveaux, Filipe Ribeiro, Ricky Tavares and Marcelo Várzea. In all, the first season will have seven episodes, which will be released at once on Netflix. on the 15th of June.
