“Riverdale” Is An Archie Comics Series And Has Been Officially Canceled By The CW
The CW Network announced on Thursday that “Riverdale” will end its seventh season. In an official statement released by Deadline, the North American network said that the series based on the comics from Archie Comics joined its extensive list of canceled productions.

Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa in 2017, the series presents a subversive version of Archie, Betty, Veronica and their friends, exploring the surrealism of small-town life. The plot shows how weirdness hides behind Riverdale’s healthy facade.
The CW has canceled several productions in recent weeks, including “Legends of Tomorrow”, “Batwoman”, “Naomi”, “Legacies”, “Dynasty”, “Charmed”, “Roswell, New Mexico”, “In The Dark” e “4400”.
“Riverdale” is currently in its sixth season, which will feature a cameo from Kiernan Shipka how Sabrina spellman, the protagonist of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”. All six seasons of the series are available on Netflix.
