Traversing his entire professional and personal life, “Halftime” promises to visit the scars opened at different times in the history of Jennifer Lopez. The film will feature testimonies from Ben Affleck, her current fiancé, and will show how the singer was pressured and questioned by her relationship with the actor. Another important point presented in the trailer is how snubbed Lopez felt about not being nominated for an Oscar in 2019 for her performance in “Hustlers”, in which she plays the stripper and single mother, Ramona.
The documentary about the life of Lopez will be directed by Amanda Michelinominated for an Oscar 2008 in the category of “Best Documentary Short Film” for “La Corona”.
Before joining Netflix on June 14, “Halftime” will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on the 8th of the same month.
