Prime Video released the first trailer for “The Terminal List”, a new action series starring Chris Pratt (“Guardians of the Galaxy”).
The role marks the actor’s return to a TV production since the comedy “Parks and Recreation”, which ended in 2015. Pratt also serves in the role of executive producer on the series.
The series is an adaptation of the book by Jack Carr, who served as a United States Marine Corps. The official synopsis states that the plot “follows James Reece (Pratt) after his entire battalion of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a risky undercover mission. Reece returns to his home and family with confused memories of the event and questions about guilt. However, as new evidence emerges, he discovers dark forces fighting him, putting not only his own life at risk, but the lives of those he loves.“.
Antoine Fuqua (“Seven Men and a Destination”) will be responsible for directing from screenplays of David DiGilio (“Strange Angel”), who will command a writers’ room made up of army veterans or professionals who have lived with the military.
The cast of the series still has Jai Courtney, Riley Keough, Constance Wu, taylor kitsch and others. “The Terminal List” arrives on Prime Video on July 1. watch the teaser:
