Drake Rodger and Meg Donnelly will star in the series
The CW has released the first images of “The Winchesters”, a prequel to “Supernatural”, which will focus on the story of the parents of Sam and Dean. The official photos show Drake Rodger and Meg Donnelly like the couple John and Mary. Check out:

According to the CW’s description, Mary is a 19-year-old girl who has been fighting the forces of darkness since she was a child. After losing someone close, the Huntress considers abandoning the family business – until the disappearance of her father and the arrival of the unknown John Winchester forces her to lead a new team.
John Winchester is a character who has just returned from Vietnam. The selfless and brave young man finds a new mission at home, where traces of his father’s past lead him to a secret organization and a new war as a hunter.
“The Winchesters” will show Dean (Jensen ackles) narrating the love story of their parents and the difficulties they faced to live together and form a family in a world full of supernatural monsters and hunters. Ackles, who starred in “Supernatural”, returns as executive producer of the prequel alongside his wife, Danneel ackles.
In “Supernatural”, Mary and John were played by Amy Gumenick and Matt Cohenand later by Samantha Smith and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
The premiere date for “The Winchesters” has not yet been announced by The CW.
