Bill Hader returns as the protagonist of the new episodes
Even before the third season finished airing on HBO, the network confirmed that “Barry”, a comedy series starring Bill Haderis officially renewed for a fourth year.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new batch of episodes shouldn’t take that long to premiere, as production on the new episodes has already begun. According to the North American website, Hader will direct the eight chapters of the new season. Check out the special announcement video below:

“Barry” tells the story Barry Berkman, a former Marine who now works as a hitman with depression, who is hired to kill an aspiring actor in California. On his quest, he ends up finding a receptive community in a group of hopeful members of the Los Angeles film community.
In addition to Hader, who won an Emmy award for his work on the series, the actors Henry Winkler (Gene), Sarah Goldberg (Sally), Anthony Carrigan (NoHo Hank) and Stephen Root (Monroe Fuches) also return to the cast.
The first two complete seasons are available in the HBO Max catalog.
