Australian actress Margot Robbie, known for her role as Harley Quinn in The Suicide Squad (Suicide Squad), will produce and star in the next installment in the Ocean film series.
Direk Jay Roach will direct this fifth film in the legend. The latter already collaborated with Margot Robbie in 2019 for the film Scandal (bombshell). The actress ’performance in this true-life drama earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Although the pre-episode project ofOcean’s Eleven is still in development, Warner Bros. announced plans to begin production next year. The action film will take place in Europe in the 1960s, according to information from the Hollywood Reporter.
The legend of The Ocean known for its comic book films centered on large -scale theft has five films to its credit. The first Strangers in Las Vegas (Ocean 11) starring Frank Sinatra was released in 1960 before being revived in 2001 when Ocean’s Eleven rushed to theaters with George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt leading the cast.
