Showrunner Eric Kripke Revealed That “Herogasm” Will Have Emotional Moments
The third season of “The Boys” will feature a “herogasm”, better known as an “orgy of heroes”, and second Eric Kripke, showrunner of the series, the scene besides being crazy, promises to “break the hearts” of the fans.
According to the executive, the scene is already known to fans for being present in the comics of “The Boys”, but in the series it will appear within a dramatic and emotional scenario. “It’s a massive orgy and a hilarious, weird set-up for the show,” explained to SFX.
“One thing we’ve managed to do is make it genuinely emotional, there are heartbreaking scenes in that orgy. If there’s one thing ‘The Boys’ does well, it’s breaking your heart in the middle of an orgy!”continued Kripke.
According Jensen acklesthe long-awaited orgy between heroes, dubbed “Herogasm” and which should be the theme of the sixth episode of the new season, was something traumatizing for the entire team working on the sequel.
“Herogasm is something that a lot of people are excited to see. I know I was really curious how it would work. And even the director said, ‘I don’t know what I’m filming anymore.’ Our crew seemed traumatized.” declared an interview with the magazine vanity fair.
The series’ third season episodes will arrive on Amazon Prime Video starting June 3rd. Its two predecessors are still available on the streaming.
