New Star Wars Series Coming to Disney+ on May 27
CineBuzz was present at the global press conference for “Obi-Wan Kenobi”, a series from the Star Wars universe that will debut on Disney+ on May 27.
And during the conversation, the star Ewan McGregor, the interpreter of the young Obi-Wan Kenobi, was asked what his favorite Star Wars movie would be. without thinking too much, McGregor answered:
“My favorite is ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope’ just because that’s what changed my life, in so many ways. When I hear the words Star Wars, I always think of C3PO and R2D2 walking through the desert sand, this is the first image that comes to my mind“, he stated.
The actress Moses Ingramwho will act in the series as a follower of Darth Vader, also left her favorite: “I’m going to cheat and say “Obi-Wan Kenobi” because now the series is so tied to moments and memories in my life, similar to ‘A New Hope’ for McGregor. And so, I feel like that would be my perfect answer.“
The principal Deborah Chow also didn’t miss the opportunity to say his favorite, but he went down a different path, neither the classic movies nor the series, but a spin off:
“I know it’s hard not to say ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’. I have an appreciation in different ways for all movies. But I would say one of the ones I find really interesting visually is ‘Rogue One’“, he stated.
