Director and producer Dolly Pussi passed away on Friday, May 20, at the age of 84. The sad news was released by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA).

Pussi, who is also deputy director of ENERC, the INCAA film school, was born in the province of Santa Fe, where he graduated as a drawing and painting teacher at the School of Fine Arts. He graduated from the Cinematography Institute of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Documentary Filmmaking.

He participated in the creation, and became the production director of the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, in Cuba. In addition, he is a member of the New Latin American Cinema Foundation, which is headed by a writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
