In an interview, she talked about reprising her partnership with the filmmaker Olivier Assayasfrom “Above the Clouds” and “Personal Shopper”, in the remake of the 1996 French film.
“I would love to do another French film. I actually appear for a short time in Olivier Assayas’ new series ‘Irma Vep’. We will work together again for sure. My next goal is to make a French film with Olivier!” said the actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her work on “Spencer” this year.
Produced by A24, the production company responsible for “O Farol”, “Midsommar” and “Euphoria”, the plot tells the story of a movie star who is disillusioned with his career on the big screen. Seeking new challenges, she begins to try to escape patterns and stereotypes, but begins to have difficulty separating her own identity from the character she is about to play in theaters.
With Alicia Vikander (“Tomb Rider”), the cast of the miniseries also includes Tone Sturridge (“Mary Shelley”), Byron Bowers (“Kimi: Someone’s Listening”), speech Chen (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”) Adria Arjona (“Squad 6”), Jerrod Carmichael (“Ramy”), Carrie Brownstein (“Portlandia”) and Devon Ross.
