While making its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, “Decision To Leave”, a new film by Park Chan-wook, the same director of “The Maid” and “Oldboy”, had a new teaser released on social networks by Mubi. The preview shows an investigator trying to solve a man’s mysterious death, but ends up getting more involved than he bargained for with the victim’s wife.

According to the official synopsis, the plot revolves around a detective who, while investigating the death of a man in the mountains, meets the victim’s mysterious wife and ends up jeopardizing the course of his entire investigation.
The cast includes the actors Tang Wei, Park Hae-Il, Go Kyung-pyo, Lee Jung-hyun and Jeong Ha-dam. Park Chan-wook also assumes the role of screenwriter alongside Seo-kyeong Jeong.
“Decision to Leave” is set to hit theaters on June 29.
