Preview shows the hero facing off against Marvel’s new villain, the Gorr

“Thor: Love and Thunder” opens in theaters in July – Disclosure / Marvel Studios

Marvel Studios has released the official trailer for “Thor: Love and Thunder”, the fourth film focused on the son of Odin. The vibrant and colorful preview features capthe great villain of the story, but it also has some details that only fans with the most attentive eyes have noticed.

With that in mind, we’ve put together some details present in the trailer that you might not have noticed:

  • Thor tattoo in honor of Loki

When he arrives at Olympus to be interrogated, Zeuswhich will be lived by Russell Crowe, decides to take off the disguise that Thor is wearing, but ends up taking off too much and leaves the hero naked in front of everyone. Of course, the scene is “censored” for being a free-rating movie, but it was still enough to distract people from an important detail.

Thor got a huge tattoo on his back in honor of his brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), who died in “Avengers: Infinity War”. In the scene, you can see the God of Mischief’s helm and the character’s name among the symbols.

  • Valkyrie fighting Zeus’ thunderbolt

The trailer for “Thor: Love and Thunder” shows the Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), who assumed the throne of New Asgard in “Avengers: Endgame” facing off against Gorr, the Butcher of the Gods.

The scene would be exciting just for the special photography that involves the villain and for her impressive fight choreography, but who noticed that she is using Zeus’ Thunderbolt as a sword?

  • Goddess Bast

This detail had already appeared in one of the official images and is also present in the trailer, which could generate a direct connection to the movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.

While Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Valkyrie appear seated on a throne on Olympus, we see a figure, which until then, was mysterious. The character is the Panther Goddess of WakandaBast or Bastet, as she is known in the comics, which will be played by the actress Akosia Sabet.

  • Marvel’s Cosmic Entities

The last scene of the official trailer shows the Mighty Thor wielding Mjönir in a hall that has some statues, which represent none other, none other than the cosmic entities of Universal Marvel: the lookout (from “What If…?”), the Living Courta Death it’s the Infinite.
