AMC series adapts Anne Rice’s classic literary saga
AMC has released a new teaser for “Interview with the Vampire”, a new adaptation of the classic literary saga of Anne Rice, a writer who recently died. The preview shows the vampire’s audio Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) beginning the account of how he became a supernatural being.

The plot of the first book revolves around the vampire Louis from Pointe du Lacas he relates the story of his life to a reporter, especially about how he was turned into a vampire and then mentored by Lestat de Lioncourt.
The eight episodes ordered for the show’s first season will be directed by Alan Taylor (“Game of Thrones”). Already rollin jones (“Friday Night Lights”) adds to the project as showrunner and screenwriter.
In addition to Andersonthe list has Sam Reid (“Belle”) as the vampire Lestat; Eric Bogosian (“Billions”), which will live the Daniel Molloy; Assad Zaman (“Apple Tree Yard”), who will play Rashid; and Bailey Bass (“Avatar 2”), responsible for bringing the Claudiaa young woman who is turned into a vampire by Louis and Lestat.
The new adaptation of “Interview with the Vampire” is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
