“Tudo Igual..SQN” is the first national series produced by Disney+, and arrives in the catalog this Wednesday (25)
“Tudo Igual..SQN” arrives in the Disney+ catalog this Wednesday (25), already as the first national series to be produced by streaming. Bringing a story that everyone already knows well – maybe because they went through it -, the production with Miá Mello (“My Past Condemns Me”) and Gabriella Saraivah (“Chiquititas”) will appeal to younger audiences, who are choking on their teenage problems as if they would never end. By the way, this already fits part of the premise of the series.
The production follows Carol (Saraivah) at a time when you are going through important changes in your life. On the one hand, she must deal with her mother’s new – and for her premature – marriage, Beth (Miá Mello), with her most recent boyfriend and the imminent relationship with his son, Thomas (Daniel Botelho). But everything gets worse when the duo permanently moves to their house, where they built a routine with their mother and still keep many memories of their father.
But what she least expected is that one of her best friends would be interested in the boy who Carol sees you as your faithful enemy. Beta (Ana Jeckel), as she is the oldest in the group, she even tries not to get involved with Thomas to preserve their friendship for years, however, by trying to be more sensible about the whole situation that is a nightmare in her head. Carol and follow your desires, you may face problems you would not like.
At the same time, the daughter of Beth starts her first relationship and finds herself in the clouds with bernard (Ronald Sotto), but as everything at age 15 is not always perfect, she begins to experience unexpected situations with her longtime friends, which put their friendship to the test. Thus, she faces typical challenges of adolescence, experiencing feelings never before explored and learns that the first step to be happy is to know herself and respect her own feelings, despite many mistakes being made along the way.
However, the series based on the youth novel “Na Porta ao Lado”, by the Brazilian writer Luly Trigo, is more suitable for young people aged between 13 and 16, who will certainly feel more familiar with the situations shown in “Tudo Igual…SQN”. Mainly for bringing up topics such as: friendship, love, mother and daughter relationship, responsibility, free will and a little foot in environmental awareness – important for any age group.
In an exclusive interview with some journalists, the CineBuzz could speak directly with Meow and Gabriella about the first Brazilian series on Disney+, and also ask about the highlights of the production. In the chat, they managed to talk about such an intimate subject as that of mother and daughter, and the exchange they managed to achieve between the character and their persona in real life. How your life experience could contribute to the plot of the series and vice versa.
Starting with the pioneering “Everything Is Same…SQN” on Disney+. Gabi confessed that it was “a challenge mixed with a mission, because we are sending a message to many people. It’s very gratifying, it’s a huge happiness to be able to represent teenagers, mothers, families”. Already Meow brought the expectations that every Disney fan aims for in their accomplishments: “Disney we have in a collective of good things, which we consume. It’s really cool to be in a place where we’ve always been as viewers”he added.
In the conversation of the most preserved topic, about fraternal relations, Meow begins by saying about the importance of the relationship between Carol and Beth in the series, especially after the loss of her husband. So, as the young woman was her partner at all times, he helped her open her new bakery; everything is a new moment and”Beth starts to see the glow of life again”, said the actress. And as for her personal life, she even joked about how real what the show shows and what she goes through at home is real. So, the topic of motherhood could not be more important on this spectrum.
“I brought challenges that I had in my motherhood to Beth and Carol’s relationship”he pointed out. “I think that when we bring this relevance to art, it becomes even more powerful, because it is such an important topic for me”completed honey. “It’s the first series in which people will be able to see me in a more dramatic and profound way, as a plural artist. The exchange of experiences was very big for me, including the exchanges I had with Gabi, who I took to the my sons”he confessed.
“Tudo Igual…SQN” still has a cast formed by Duda Matte (trix), Clara Buarque (Amanda), Guilhermina Libanio (Pri), Guthierry Sotero (Bruno) and Kiko Pissolato (Carlos). The complete first season is now available on Disney+.
