Jim Ryanpresident of Sony, revealed during a business conference held on Thursday morning (26) that three of the company’s most popular games will become TV series in the coming years: “God of War”, “Gran Turismo” and “Horizon Zero Dawn”.

In a presentation broadcast by GamesRadar, Ryan said that the “Horizon Zero Dawn” series will be produced by Netflix, while “God of War” will arrive on Prime Video. There is still no broadcaster or platform for streaming linked to “Gran Turismo”.

“Horizon Zero Dawn” is a post-apocalyptic story of humans versus machines; “God of War” follows the misadventures of the Spartan warrior Kratos; and “Gran Turismo” is one of the most traditional racing games in the industry.

Ryan confirmed that game adaptations for TV and film are an important part of Sony’s strategy in the coming years, citing projects in development such as “The Last of Us” on HBO and “Twisted Metal” on Peacock.

The series announced by Sony do not have a set premiere date.
