“Willow”: Disney+ series that continues the story of the 1988 classic gets a trailer – Disney+

Disney+ released the first trailer on Thursday for the TV series “Willow,” which continues the story of the 1988 fantasy classic.

Warwick Davis, who returns to the role he played in the film, narrates the preview: “There is a balance between all things: light and shadow, goodness and evil. When this balance is disrupted, the universe corrects itself“.

“Willow” is an epic fantasy series with a modern sensibility set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty. The production features a diverse international cast and executive producers Kasdan, Ron Howard, Wendy Mericle, Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Rejwan.

The story begins with an aspiring magician from a village of Nelwyn and a girl destined to unite the kingdoms, who together helped to destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness.

Now, in a world where elves, sorcerers, trolls and other mystical creatures live, the adventure continues as an unlikely band of heroes set out on a perilous quest to places far beyond their home, where they must face their inner demons and band together to save your world.

Ruby Cruz (“Mare of Easttown”), Erin Kellyman (“Hawk and the Winter Soldier”) and Tony Revolori (“Spider-Man: No Homecoming”) are among the newcomers to the cast.

Jonathan Kasdan (“Solo Han: A Star Wars Story”) serves as showrunner of the series, which debuts November 30 on Disney+. watch the teaser:
