‘Silence of the Lambs’ Actress Will Play Detective Liz Danvers
The Oscar-winning actress for “The Silence of the Lambs” Jodie Foster, was chosen to star in the fourth season of “True Detective”. According to the website Hollywood Reporter, the new year of the series is being developed by Issa Lopez and Barry Jenkins.
According to the North American website, Foster was chosen to play Liz Danversone of the detectives responsible for solving the disappearance of six men who operate a research station in the Arctic.
In addition to starring in the new season, Jodie also serves on the project as an executive producer. The actress shares the post with López, Jenkins and Alan Page Arriaga.
Filming for the fourth season of “True Detective” has not yet started and there is no release date for the new episodes.
