The film features Austin Butler as the King of Rock, Elvis Presley
As previously disclosed, the public is already aware that the soundtrack of “Elvis” will feature great artists in the musical environment. Last Thursday (26), a new preview of the feature was released to the sound of “Can’t Help Falling in Love”, performed by Kacey Musgravesa dozen voices that will appear throughout the plot.
On her official Twitter account, the singer thanked the director Baz Luhrmann and also revealed the release date of the song. “‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ comes out June 24th on film + soundtrack. Recording this iconic song was an honor. [A primeira fita que ganhei foi Elvis e eu estava ** desmaiando **] I can’t wait to see this movie”he wrote musgraves. Check out:

Just this week, “Elvis” made its debut at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, and became the most applauded film of the edition, so far. Surpassing “Top Gun: Maverick” by Tom Cruisewith 5 minutes, the biopic guaranteed 12 minutes of standing applause for the performance of Austin Butler like the King of Rock.
The film’s story delves into the complex dynamics between Presley and his manager Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) over 20 years, since the rise of Elvis from fame to unprecedented stardom.
“Elvis” hits Brazilian theaters on July 14.
