ABOUT “OBI-WAN KENOBI”
“Obi-Wan Kenobi” will have 6 episodes and will feature the return of Ewan McGregor (“The Impossible”) as the Jedi Master who trained Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), and years later introduced Luke Skywalker knowledge of the Force. If his participation is confirmed, it would not be a big surprise for the fans, but a reason for celebration, since McGregor brought the character to life in the saga created by George Lucasbetween episodes I and III.
The cast still has Moses Ingram (“The Queen’s Gambit”), Kumail Nanjiani (“The Eternals”), Indira Varma (“Exodus: Gods and Kings”), Rupert Friend (“Hitman: Agent 47”), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (“Straight Outta Compton: The Story of the NWA), Sung Kang (from the “Fast & Furious” franchise), Simone Kessel (“Reckoning: Settlement”) and Benny Safdie (“Pieces of a Woman”).
After being delayed, “Obi-Wan Kenobi” arrives on Disney+ on May 27.
