The picture before the TV

A lover of photography from an early age (as a child, he installed a dark room in the wardrobe of his house), Jean-René Dufort was a reporter-photographer before experiencing success on the small screen.

In 2015 and 2016 he published two books dedicated to his work as a photographer, We are all in one place at My eye.

Photos of the latter were also shown in 2018 during an exhibition in Drummondville, which also included photos he took in Pyeongchang when he covered the Winter Olympics for Radio-Canada.

When I travel, it’s surprising that this identity always floats. “Are you French?” No! I AM MORE THAN A FRENCHMAN: I am a Frenchman who knows the rules of baseball, a Frenchman on the F-150!he describes it in his sense of humor.

The exhibition America ko will be shown in Studio D of the Diane-Dufresne Center d’art until October 2, 2022.
