‘Pinocchio’ hits Disney+ on September 8
Disney+ released this Tuesday (31), a never-before-seen trailer for the live-action version of “Pinocchio”, a classic wooden puppet story that will bring Tom Hanks (“Finch”) in the role of its creator, Geppetto.
Packed with adventures, the preview shows Hanks’ character following the classic story and making a wish on the stars. Watch:

“The woodworker Geppetto sees a shooting star and wants the puppet he just created, Pinocchio, to become a real boy. The Blue Fairy grants his wish and asks Jiminy Cricket to serve as the wooden boy’s conscience.”says the official synopsis of the production.
Directed by Robert Zemeckis (“Back to the Future”), “Pinocchio” will feature Cynthia Erivo (“Harriet”) as the Blue FairyBesides Joseph Gordon-Levittwhich will do the original voice of the Jiminy Cricket.
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (“The Haunting of Bly Manor”) will voice the protagonist; While Luke Evans will play the role of barkerthe Coachman; Keegan-Michael Key will give voice to honest john; and Lorraine Bracco it will be Sofiathe Seagull, a new character in the story.
“Pinocchio” arrives on Disney+ on September 8.
