Amazon Reveals Cast of “Red, White, and Blue Blood” Adaptation Martin’s Griffin

Amazon announced on Wednesday (1) the official cast of the romantic comedy “Red, White and Blue Blood”, based on the book of the same name written by Casey McQuiston and published in 2019.

Taylor Zakhar Perez (“The Kissing Booth”) and Nicholas Galitzine (“Young Witches”) will play, respectively, Alex Claremont-Diaz, son of the first female president of the United States and Prince Henry, of British royalty.

In addition to them, they complete the list: Rachel Hilson, Ellie Bamber, Sarah Shahi, Clifton Collins Jr, Stephen Fry, Polo Morin, Anesh Sheth, Ahmed Elhaj and Akshay Khanna.

The story follows the unfolding after an incident at a royal wedding, in which Alex has to pretend to be friends with Prince Henry of England to prevent a diplomatic crisis from reaching the press and from taking the spotlight on his mother’s electoral candidacy for the Presidency of the States. United. The two become real friends, but end up becoming romantically involved when Henry reveals he is gay and Alex discovers he is bisexual.

Matthew Lopez (“The Inheritance”) will direct the film. According to Deadline, production will officially begin filming in the UK in June. There is no premiere date yet.
