Juanse celebrated his 60th birthday with Fito, Fabi, Nito, Toti, Fachi, Cordera, Junior, Roy and 8,500 fans

On Friday night, as promised, Juanse had the pleasure of doing a long recital of nearly three hours to celebrate his sixtieth birthday, he spared nothing and had almost nothing in his pocket to offer, like them over 30 songs and a parade of famous friends who joined live.

In total there were 8,500 people who ran out of tickets and filled the Luna Park to the brim. There was no shortage of flags, “rags” and even some gigantic umbrellas that did not stop shaking throughout the show. And of course everyone sang along to the songs, which were a series of hits from Ratones Paranoicos and his solo career.

As a master of ceremonies, Juanse was an ideal showman, capable of making jokes, imitating Pappus and showing off with total spontaneity, freshness and sympathetic demagoguery, spreading his evident joy.

At first he said: “I’m so grateful it would be a mask if I said a few words. Long live Diego Armando Maradona! Long live Argentina! Cheers for Argentina, I live here, Dad! Enough of garbage and chinstrap!”

In the first section, before making a great version of what do I giveHe even laughed at himself and his talkativeness: “Do you want me to talk or play? Note that if I talk I play less … well, I do both!”

The first guest: Fachi

During the first nine songs, Juanse played with his current band, The Mustang Cowboys, consisting of former Ratones Paranoicos Pablo Memi on bass, Juan Manuel Colonna on drums and Ponch on guitars.

open with Something special leader, The Centaur, Link, I’m high, Isabel, Black Magic Y black ladyyes, all Ratones hits, plus Powerfrom his solo album divine energy.

The first guest arrived at the tenth theme: Fachi, the legendary bassist of Viejas Locaswho made a hit from his repertoire: Everything remains the samewith Memi switching to guitar and also performing with a great solo.

The list continued with three more songs from his solo stage, with no guests, but soon another surprise came: Fito Páez showed up, wearing a huge white fur coat. He joined the cat rock and in the middle of the theme appeared Fabiana Cantilo, who danced enthusiastically.

Fito and Fabi then sang keep spinning and Juanse greeted them with overflowing affection.

Toti and Cordera

Christian “Toti” Iglesias, the beloved leader of Jovenes Pordioseros, another legend of the early 2000s, was Juanse’s next birthday surprise.

Together, they made a great version of Gasa rarity from Juanse’s first solo album, Bong Espressoor, with Toti walking across the stage from one end to the other, dancing with his classic Jagger steps.

Then, without a pause, Gustavo Cordera appeared, who harangued the entire stadium to sing a Happy birthday to the landlord. Singing Vice and went away applauded.

Roy, Junior and Nito

The repertoire continued with On the carpet, Rainbow, Carol Y piece of rockproving that Juanse is the author of countless Argentine rock classics and that one of his shows is an unstoppable succession of hits that are already part of the collective unconscious of two generations.

As a special fact, Rainbow busy the battery Roy Quirogathe drummer of the Ratones Paranoicos, whom the entire stadium cheered and cheered as a sign of respect, admiration and affection.

And before that CharlesJuanse exclaimed a famous “Long live Jesus Christ, long live the Virgin Mary, long live rock and roll!”.

The last surprise of the night was Nito Mestreto which Juan introduced himself clarifying that he was the first to fill Luna Park, alluding to Farewell Sui Generis 1975. And from that repertoire recorded with Charly García, he sings rock and roll Mr. Jones or a little semblance of an American-style family.

Before, between Junior and Nito, Juanse performed more hits: Horses at night, do not cry, heavy brothel, the ship, sympathy, roll destroyed Y Cowboy.

By the end, after the three-hour full rock concert, they played Route 66 (a clear tribute to Pappo) e Forever, with a photo of some young Juanse and Maradona included. Later, the host called the whole band about him and they greeted each popular from one end of the stage, and then to the audience from the center.

It was a dream birthday, with a generous dose of Eternal Bands, crossing songs from different eras along with special guests, all frontmen with a particular style of moving and conquering the audience. Seeing them, comparing them and enjoying them in the same night was a gift for everyone. And without a doubt Juanse’s best gift the same day he turned 60.
