Guns N ‘Roses will play in Argentina on September 30th at the River Stadium, as part of a very long tour that started in January 2020 and with many breaks and different sections. Now, after an eight-month break, they are back on the pitch with a great show in Lisbon.
The playlist included a big surprise: a version of the song Walk all over you from AC / DC, something they had never done. They also played a rarity from their discography, which they haven’t done in a show since 1993: the theme Reckless life.

In total, the list consisted of 27 songs, and it was his first one-of-a-kind concert with 16 recitals in Europe. Then they will rest 45 days and return to the cargo in South America.
AC / DC theme
AC / DC fans quickly realized that the inclusion of Walk all over you was a nod to when Axl Rose sang in AC / DC in 2016, replacing Brian Johnson, who was hard of hearing and walked out of a show with his group.
On that occasion, Axl sang at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés stadium, the same place in the city of Lisbon where he was now performing with Guns N’Roses.
A rarity of Guns
The theme Reckless life it was first played live since its recording in 1993. It belongs to the EP Live?! * @ Like a suicideof 1986, and it was one of the first compositions of the group.
Another highlight of the show was an electric version of you are crazyof the disc Appetite for destructionwhich had always played acoustically.

Towards Argentina
On March 22 of this year, Guns N’Roses confirmed their return to Argentina as part of their South American tour. The show will be on September 30th at the River Plate Stadium. In this way, Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will once again step on the Monumental, where they had already played in 1992 and 1993.
The stop on the South American Tour 2022 is a continuation of their Not in This Lifetime Tour, which marked the reunion of the band’s original core after several years of estrangement. This long-awaited fan gathering took place as part of the celebrations for the 30-year career of one of the most popular rock bands of recent decades.
Originally, Guns N’Roses would come to Argentina to be part of Lollapalooza Argentina 2020. The band released a statement on September 4, 2020, confirming the cancellation of their Latin American tour. Countries like Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, among others, have not been able to enjoy their show.
