Camila Pérez, who speaks about her, is from Martínez, province of Buenos Aires, she is 19 and in the blind audition of the reality show that Marley hosts, she played “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, by Simon and Garfunkel.

At the end of the song, Mau and Ricky, Lali and Ricardo Montaner turned around. The participant was seen very excited because she, she said, she was already afraid that none of the coaches would turn her chair to offer her entry into their team, that is, that she would not be able to participate in the competition. .

Ricardo Montaner played a comic passage claiming that Camila had been singing the whole time looking towards the sector where her children and Lali Esposito sit. “I’m very hurt that he didn’t give me the opportunity, he didn’t even consider me,” he complained. “But I need you on my team and you will be welcome,” added the singer-songwriter, with enormous histrionics.

Then Ricky spoke. He told the attendee that he and his brother Mau would also be happy to have her on their team. And then she released the question that sparked the scandal on Twitter: “Do you sing in Spanish too?”.

The participant’s response stunned the coaches: “Mostly I sing in English. I don’t know many songs in Spanish, that’s the truth“.

“Don’t you listen to Mau and Ricky at all?” Ricky Montaner told him, without leaving his astonishment. “You don’t know any of my songs either?” Lali asked, perplexed. “I know, but I don’t knowCamila replied. Then Ricky exploded: “Oh, don’t fool around, you came to La Voz in Argentina!“.

What will happen when you have to sing in Spanish if you don’t know any?“Ricardo Montaner asked her. The participant assured that she will learn the songs.” As I did in the first auditions, “she said, referring to the fact that in the castings to enter the program, by regulation, candidates must sing in Spanish.

In this context they asked her to interpret the same casting theme and sang “Llorar”, by Jesse & Joy. When she chose which team to join, Camila opted for Lali’s, who assured her that they will work hard to get the best of themselves.

As Lali went backstage to greet Camila’s family, Ricardo Montaner couldn’t control his genius and yelled at her: “Teach him to sing in Spanish!“.

Lali Espósito froze when she heard that Camila doesn't know Spanish songs. She catches the TV.
