Mick Jagger has Covid and the Rolling Stones cancel a concert

The Rolling stones canceled today, Monday 13 June, the concert they had planned to offer tonight amsterdam after their leader and singer, Mick Jaggertested positive for coronavirus.

In a statement, the British rock band detailed in a statement that the 78-year-old singer was undergoing a test after “experiencing Covid symptoms upon arrival at the stadium” Johan Cruyff Arena.

The group apologized “deeply” for being forced to cancel the concert, but “the safety of the public, our fellow musicians and tour employees must be a priority,” they stressed.

Jagger “I can’t sing, I can’t play”

The Stones have assured that in the future they will find a new date to offer another recital in Amsterdam, for which tickets already sold for today will be used.

Representatives of Mojo Concerts, who had organized the show in the Netherlands, informed the audience at the stadium of what had happened an hour and a half before the scheduled start of the presentation.

Jagger “can’t sing, can’t play,” said one announcer. “There is no show tonight.”
