Artist Wyclef Jean will sing at the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival on September 4th.
This is the only concert the American artist of Haitian origin will give at a festival in Canada this summer. He will perform with his musicians the greatest hit of his career, spanning more than three decades.
The solo artist, but also a member of the Fugees, along with Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel, the musician, singer and producer has won three Grammy awards and established himself as an ongoing force in hip-hop, soul and R ‘n’ B.
The Scrapbook The scoreFugees ’debut album released in 1996, propelled it to international stardom with popular tracks such as Ready or not, Fu-gee-la at I am slowly being killed. He then released nine single albums, including The Carnival in 1997 and The Ecleftic: 2 Edges II a Book In 2000.
The 35th Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival will be held from Sept. 1 to 5. Wyclef Jean’s show will be shown on Sunday, Sept. 4, at exactly 10 p.m., on the Casino Lac-Leamy stage. Les Louanges, Roch Voisine, Salebarbes, Les Trois Accords, Koriass and Souldia, as well as Guylaine Tanguay will also perform at the festival.
