After running out of features announced for September 29th and 30th, Fito Páez has added a new date for the 30th anniversary celebration of the hit album Love after love at the Movistar Arena stadium in Buenos Aires for the Tuesday 20 September.

Seats for the new function are available from noon today, via the stadium’s official website.

In this way, paradoxically, this new function that is added becomes the start of the tour, which will continue on September 24 at the Plaza de la Música, in Córdoba and will have its two stages announced at the Movistar Arena, and then embark on a journey in the United States.

There the Rosario artist will perform on 6 October in Orlando, 8 in Miami and 9 in New York; the trip will continue on the 13th of the same month in Caracas, Venezuela; and she will cross the Atlantic Ocean to perform on the 25th in Madrid and the next day in Barcelona.

On 25 November it will be the turn of Montevideo, on 2 December it will pass through Santiago de Chile and, for the moment, it will close the year on 8 and 10 at the Municipal Amphitheater of the Rosario.

It should be noted that due to the great response from its audience to Rosario, which quickly ran out of tickets for its two shows announced for December, Fito Páez will be giving a third in the city.

Rosario’s singer-songwriter has added a date for Sunday 11 December, also at the Municipal Amphitheater, where recitals will be held on Thursday 8 and Saturday 10, all in the middle of the international tour to celebrate 30 years of love after lover, his seventh studio album, and the best-selling in the history of national rock.

The new tickets will go on sale from today at 11, through the ticketek.com.ar platform.

For the next year, the tour will not interrupt its march and will continue to cross our country, as well as Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, United States, Canada, Israel and various points of Europe.

It will be an opportunity to listen to classics such as the song that gives the album its name, Thelma and Louise, Traffic through Kathmandu, Petal of Salt, A Dress and a Love, Tombs of Glory, The Magic Wheel, Microphone Glow Y to roll my lifeAmong many.

However, as Fito himself has announced, they will certainly be renewed versions, as he plans to re-record the famous album in August in Los Angeles, alongside Gustavo Borner and Diego Olivero.

“The idea is to transform it, revisit it and make it new,” said the artist from Rosario.

Love after love It is not only the most successful album in Fito’s vast artistic career, it is also the best-selling album in the history of Argentine rock. By the time of its 20th anniversary, it had sold over a million copies in physical format.

In addition to the large number of classics that made Fito an impressive artist, the album featured the large number of guest stars, including Mercedes Sosa, Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Andrés Calamaro, Celeste Carballo, Claudia Puyó and Fabiana Cantilo .

The album in its entirety had been revisited by Fito in an outdoor concert held in 2013 in the forests of Buenos Aires in Palermo, near the Planetarium, when it celebrated 20 years after its release.
