Canadian Drag Race: two Quebecers in competition in 3rd season

The famous TV drag competition Canadian Drag Race: may the best win will return on July 14 for a third season on the Crave platform, which on Wednesday announced 12 new drag queens to compete, including Montrealers Gisèle Lullaby and Lady Boom Boom.

The judging trio of Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski and Traci Melchor will return to rule the queens, who will need to master singing, dancing, acting, imitation, design and improvisation to win the grand prize of $ 100,000 and the title of Next Drag Superstar.

In addition to the two drag queens from Quebec, the show’s 3rd season will see the very first contestants from Saskatchewan, Chelazon Leroux, and from Newfoundland and Labrador, Irma Gerd.

The other participants were Bombae, Jada Shada Hudson, Halal Bae, Miss Fiercalicious and Miss Moço from Toronto; Kaos, of Calgary; Kimmy Couture of Ottawa and Vivian Vanderpuss of Victoria.

Along with most favorite challenges like Snatch Game and Untucked, a statement promises that the new season will also have some surprises. The nine stages of Canadian Drag Race: may the best winseason 3, will be available with French subtitles on Crave for an episode every Thursday, starting July 14, 9 p.m.
