In December 2021, Dos Más Uno and Gerardo Rozín got together in the studio to record two of the songs that sealed the artistic bond that united them.

The idea of ​​recording has been around since Dos Más Uno and Gerardo Rozín conceived The Fortress of Morfi – and then they presented live at CABA- that segment entitled “The most beautiful songs in the world”, which traces the versions of the trio and the words of Gerardo, important pieces of the Ibero-American songbook.

“Gerardo felt as comfortable singing with us as we did behind closed doors, so when we told him we wanted to go to the studio to record something before the end of the year, he immediately wanted to participate,” the trio says. that meeting.

Dos Más Uno musicians agree: “We recorded in one take. We put on ‘Rec’ and Gerardo started talking and he left us that prologue where, for the first time, he tells how he lived that moment when he discovered his diagnosis, and why Cuchi’s song has accompanied him since ‘childhood.
