COVID-19: performances of the musical Annie postponed

Just for Laughs announced Thursday evening that seven performances of the musical Anneincluding the media premiere, will be postponed to later dates due to an outbreak of COVID-19.

The postponements concern the show which was to be played this Thursday evening at the Théâtre St-Denis, in Montreal, the four performances of June 25 and 26, as well as that of June 29. The media premiere was scheduled for June 28.

People holding tickets for these dates will receive more detailed instructions shortly, specifies Groupe Juste pour rire.

Directed by Serge Denoncourt, Anne is a Quebec adaptation of the Broadway hit created in 1977. The play tells the story of an orphan full of joy and determination who is chosen to stay with a famous billionaire in New York during the Great Depression.

The musical must be presented until July 24 at the St-Denis Theater, then at the Salle Albert-Rousseau, in Quebec, from August 12 to September 4.
