Women were the first winners for the first time of these awards, broadcast live on the Telemundo channel, since in second place was the American Becky G.

Becky G has won four awards in the Top Female Artist categories, Collaboration of the year for mommyTop Urban Tropical Song for so and so and Video of the Year for aries pam pam.
