Britney Spears’ ex-husband will be tried for harassment

A judge from California, United States, concluded today, Monday, that there is sufficient evidence against a man who was briefly married to Britney Spears and who a few days ago appeared uninvited at the pop star’s wedding to. Sam Asgharito be tried on charges of criminal stalking.

After a two-hour preliminary hearing, Ventura County Judge David Worley ruled that Jason Allen Alexander40 years old, he has to answer the charge along with other minor offense charges of break-in, vandalism and assaultaccording to court records.

Alexander’s lawyer pleaded not guilty to all charges. Alexander did not attend the hearing and remains in prison.

Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears who she was married to for less than three days in 2004, showed up at home uninvited before the ceremony and did a live broadcast on Instagram.

Richard Eubler, a Spears security guard who was fired after the incident, testified at the hearing on Monday that Alexander broke into the house and went into Spears’ bedroom, which had the door locked, while she was inside.

Eubler also said that Alexander he had attempted to enter the property in the days leading up to the wedding.

Alexander’s attorney, Sandra Bisignani, said there was no evidence he intended to injure Spears.
